For maintenance, not necessarily. For design or installation it is much better if you are. Half the value of the visit is hearing what bothers you about the space.
They are optional, but a photo of the problem area often tells us in seconds what a paragraph cannot. It also means the person who comes out arrives already knowing what to look at.
Maintenance usually within a week or two. Design and installation are scheduled around weather and material lead times, and we will give you a realistic date rather than an optimistic one.
